Turbulence of heart

Dear dairy,

Things are changing again, days are rolling fast ahead as I lay in my couch thinking about the day when you first laid your eyes on me. It was our college annual day and I was busy getting my friend ready for the last dance show, when you showed up suddenly in our room with eyes wide open starring. I think you got your senses back within seconds and blurred out saying “Sorry wrong room”. I don’t know what you thought about me but I didn’t have a good impression about you as some guys purposely enter girls room with the same lame excuse. The second time I saw your face was when you climbed the stage to get the student of the year award, my first impression of you was changing a bit after this incident. You were one of the popular guys among our college while I wasn’t. Only people from my class knew me which initially bothered me but then I got used to it. After that I have seen you many times with your friends laughing and having a blast. I manage to give you eye contact all the time just in case you recognize me from that day but u always let me down.. There were always different girls around you all the time which made me feel insecure. So I just decided to stick to my ambition and work on making it true. One thing which makes me puzzled till now is that wherever I go I happened to see you, something which pulled us together even if I tried walking the opposite side.. The day wasn’t far when I heard my mom tell me that I got admission for a pre-med course in Australia and I had to leave within a month. Tears rolled down my cheek as I thought about you….my first love …It was incomplete.
I packed my bag along with the chain you accidentally dropped in the road while you were running to your class.
After 4 years …as a doctor I rarely get time to think about all these things, but as a girl you will always have a special place in my heart Karthik.

To be continued ....

Blind

Heat of the sun
Colour of strawberries
My feminine curves
Fragrance of water lilies
Lingering of birds
Hush of wind
Dewy drops of rain

Tomorrow I will be able to see and feel all of this through your eyes

Grow old along with me!

My Birthday! what a different sound ..
That word had in my youthful ears;
And how each time the day comes round,
Less and less white its mark appears

The best is yet to be, the last of life, for which the first was made.

5 weird things about me..

I cant stand the sight of blood, it gives me goose bumps…..and guess what field I am in ...Health science : )

You must have seen people eat rice with curry, but have you seen anyone eat it with chocolate, yea yea that’s ME ..hehe

I can’t stand the noise of someone chewing loud; I go bizarre and get very frustrated.

I can’t sleep without a blanket. No matter how humid it is I need something to cover me in order to fall asleep.

I talk to myself. It clears my views and helps me understand certain things. But I don’t do this in front of anyone, it is quite embarrassing.(yerkkanave paithiyum n ninnaikiranga…ithu veraya?)

I like the taste of burnt food scrapped out from the bottom of the pot.

Destiny

I looked outside the window
Hoping to find something; incredible and astonishing.
Like a small ray of hope!!
Thinking if it could change my destiny forever
Thinking if you will be still standing outside my window
Thinking of the sweet and cherishful days that passed by,
I do not know what destiny holds for me
But I know now that I am nothing without you.
Tears came rolling down my cheek as I stood there across your graveyard.
Soon did I realize that destiny and me don’t go hand in hand...
There are no words to describe for the love that I shared with you.
The love that is so real; that I want to feel it without any pain when we apart.

Hi guys how u all doing, I started to write this poem from a bright side but I do not know how and when I changed it to something depressing. I guess I am more comfortable writing sad and gloomy poems than lively and colorful ones...

Satisfaction

I will love the sun for it warms my bones;
yet I will love the rain for it cleanses my spirit.

I will love the light for it shows me the way;
yet I will love the darkness for it shows me the stars.

I will welcome happiness for it enlarges my heart;
yet I will endure sadness for it opens my soul.

I will acknowledge rewards for they are my due;
yet I will welcome obstacles for they are my challenges.

My shalini

It was big day for Sathish, a tall ,young and attractive 27 year old guy. It was his first day at work. With heart full of excitement and mind full of nervousness he walked swiftly across his office to the managers room.
Good morning Mr.sathish. Hope you had a good start of the day. Let me take you to your cabin and you can start your work right ahead.
Thanks Mr. John uttered Sathish.

In no time he was in his cabin working with his new laptop that the company had provided him. This is the first time in his life to be away from his mom and sister. It has been almost three days since he came to Toronto with a new hope and enthusiasm to begin another part of his life. He was missing his Archu kutti terribly, he picked up his phone and quickly dialed her cell phone number and cut it in no second thinking it would late night in India and she would sleeping like a baby all curled up with her favorite blue blanket. A grin broke down his jaw line as he remembered the last line Archu yelled at him before boarding the plane…”Anna anga poi vaalla surittittu iru..ennakku vella kaari anni la vendam, Namba shalini maari ru ponna paaru enna”. Shalini Ajith kumar she meant.

It was 12.30pm and his stomach was making weird noises already. He took $20 from his desk and went out in search for the cafeteria. As he was walking down the lobby his senses smelled Ralph Lauren, his favorite women’s cologne. He was taken back to his college days when Anjali, a big multimillionaires daughter used to wear it everyday. All the guys went crazy for her. Who wouldn’t? Combo of attractiveness and money together. He remembered Ram who proposed her 17 times. I am not even exaggerating. Poor guy had to hear answers like no, NO, NOWAY, HELL NO. Anjali was Archu’s college mate and her best friend. Anjali has been to our house couple of times. She must have felt weird sitting in a chair instead of a comfy couch. Walking into a small house compared to her big bungalow. Looking at me study engineering in my college days Archu also wanted to do the same. So she joined computer science in SRM. I remember doing most of her assignments while she used to chat with Anjali for hours.
If I am not wrong I think it was June 21st when Anjali stood close to me one day when I was busy ironing my shirt and getting ready to go to my friends first wedding. She exclaimed “I love you”. I was taken aback. More like a shock. Turned around to see if Archu was playing any pranks. What? My voice was unclear. She said I love you again with a strong and confident look. Even though it felt good hearing (considering all the guys who didn’t get to hear this) I knew it was wrong. I explained to her subtly, you see….you are my sisters age and I can’t imagine myself with someone who is almost exactly like my sister. Plus I am really sorry to say that I never thought or saw you in that angle, I have always thought of you like my Archu….like my sister. OUCH that should hurt. Well she is in London now doing her masters. She compelled Archu to come with her, but I didn’t want my baby to go suffer all alone in an unknown land.
Brushing of his past thoughts he quickly turned right and left to find nobody around him. He walked 3 three steps ahead when he heard “excuse me”. He turned around to find a 5.4” tall woman standing behind him. With her heels it will be around 2” more he thought. Beautiful black curly hair coming till her shoulders, eyes as sharp as a laser beam piercing through her eyes. She was wearing a light blue top with black formal pants to match with her light blue crystal earrings. He noticed her silver pendent with an OM sign and Veena written in her name tag. He felt happy. He wanted to talk something, but couldn’t. His heart was beating fast. He felt he had no control over himself. It was like an illusion. Before he could say anything she said “ungaloda $20”. He wanted to ask neega tamizh aa…but that would really stupid since she just spoke in tamil. She was looking right into his eyes and he couldn’t help starring her. He burst out asking neenga India aa?
Veena-No
Sathish-apparam..from where?
Veena-therinji enna panna pora
Sathish-err..chumma oru general knowledge k

She handed him his $20 bill and walked past him muttering cha indha payangale ippdi than…parthu sirichida koodathe….she turned back to look at him…he was still standing at the same place starring at her. She got scared and disappeared into one of the hallways.
Sathish was lost in his own world. He has never felt something like this before. Her smile wouldn’t go away from his mind. He knew at that moment. He took out his cell phone dialed to Archu caring less about the time difference. As soon as she said hello….he yelled from top of his throat…..”unnoda Anni ya parthutain diii…shalini ya vida nalla irrukaaaa….”

Back to school

When I was 3 years old I used to cry everyday before entering my classroom. My mom used to sit right across my class in a bench under a tree to smile at me whenever I looked outside. I still remember her words….nan inga than irruken..kavala padatha..

When I was 5 years old my dad walked me to the bus stop which was 10 minutes from my house. I still remember the dad and daughter talk we used to share.

When I was 10 years old my mom made my hair while my dad helped me put my shoes while I was watching T.V. I still remember the days when both of my parents would be late to work because of me.

When I was 15 years old my mom ran behind me giving me food. I still remember the look I gave her which meant please do not embarrass me in front of my friends.

When I am 20 years old….I wake up with the sound of my alarm with neither my mom nor dad beside me to feed me or do my hair. I remember the golden days passed by me.

Memories rushed towards me as I saw small children waiting for the school bus with their parents…with immense hope..with a big question mark about their future. I saw the same spark and fear in their eyes which I had 17 years ago. I wish I could rewind those days where I can be my dads little girl reaching for his hands to hold and protect me.
Now I am independent, I earn for my own small pleasures and of course to pay my loan : )….i can cook for myself and carry myself in a presentable way. And none of this could have happened without my parents.

And this reminds me that my school if starting from Monday : (….welcome back to world of sleepless nights….last minute cramming…late submissions…skipping lectures…and ..fairly no healthy food to swallow in the breaks..

Lucky and UnLucky

Why do some people get all the luck while others never get the breaks they deserve?

A psychologist says he has discovered the answer.
People’s thoughts and behaviour are responsible for much of their good and bad fortune.

Unlucky people are generally more tense than lucky people, and this anxiety disrupts their ability to notice the unexpected. As a result, they miss opportunities because they are too focused on looking for something else.
They go to parties intent on finding their perfect partner and so miss opportunities to make good friends.
They look through newspapers determined to find certain types of job advertisements and miss other types of jobs.

Lucky people are more relaxed and open, and therefore see what is there rather than just what they are looking for.
They are skilled at creating and noticing chance opportunities, make lucky decisions by listening to their intuition, create self-fulfilling prophesies via positive expectations and adopt a resilient attitude that transforms bad luck into good.

when i think about it Luck is a just a form of superstition which is interpreted differently by different individuals.
Luck is very often a self-fulfilling prophecy .......Have a Happy and Lucky life.

Suggestion

hi hi hi...
sorry guys for not posting all this while…ennaliye namba mudiyala..nan ivlo busy n..seri ok..let me tell you guys a short story and you guys tell me the ending..

Pooja and Arun really good friends, they know each other for almost a year.. Pooja is a very naïve and hard to get kinda gurl. She is very pretty and 2-3 guys have already proposed her. Arun on the other hand is a very smart and handsome guy. He is very secretive and is a closed book. Not even his friends could guess what he is thinking.
So what happens is…they both start to like each other…and none of their friends know about this…they didn’t confess to each other but they knew deep down inside. Arun would be real caring for some days and then suddenly he would disappear somewhere. He was on and off in this decisions and moods. Pooja waited for Arun to tell her about his love. 2 months passed..4 months passed..nothing from his side. So on total 11 months has passed and she was still waiting and hoping that Arun would confess his love.
In the mean time, she meets a guy named vikram…charming..flirtatious..and very cute…vikram is a open minded and frank person…and without knowing the complications between pooja and arun…he madly falls in love with her within 3 months and proposes to her.
So now my Question is…if you were in pooja’s shoes who would you prefer?
Point to note- both are equally smart and talented..: )..

Dying inside

I knew what he was gonna ask..my heart started to beat like crazy. I had mixed emotions in my face.
He was trying really hard to get to the point. But I wouldn’t let him; I would swiftly change the topic. It would take another 10 minutes for him to come closer to the same topic again. I was laughing inside imagining him sweat like crazy on the other side. Felt bad for him for a while but oh well this is my moment..let me cherish it.
He would start again…bored of listening to the same old record my imagination would start to flow…
I know he is my friend but I have started thinking a little too much. Something beyond friendship. I don’t know if that’s right or wrong. Don’t know where it will end but my feelings are not going to change at any cost.
Everyday I get up expecting his call.
The last and first thing that comes in my mind is you.

Back to reality again, his hesitation means a lot at this time. I couldn’t bear no more. Waited for him to finish the whole sentence. Waited and waited..just to find out that he had a crush on my friend.

P.S...this is purely imagination guys....hehe..ippo ve solliten..or else i know what type of comments i would get..
