Females have always been captive in a social, political and religious status. Always underestimated and given servile social roles.
The historic belief of being quite and imposed inferiority of women is becoming less common in some countries.
Time to think
Don’t be with a person who is abusive. It all starts with just one slap. (But you can slap him as many times you want ;) )
Feel free to get out of the kitchen. There is no law saying that only women should cook.
Have the full rights to work and share the burden of the family.
Have your own vehicle so you can be more independent.
Please don’t have a shared bank account with your husband cuz you won’t know where half of the money disappears.
Don’t hesitate to fight for your equality.
For a change ask a guy to sing and dance in bride viewing ceremony. Hehe

IMHO, Fighting for one's equality doesnt mean asking the man to do whatever a woman is doing :)... It is more about standing for one's right when it is denied and fight when abused.... :)

i am talking about equality to fight for ur rights...n these r the basic human rights...could be as simple as right of speech..
i am pretty sure u must have encountered situations where only the breadwinner of the family decides everything.

Understandable. At the same time, a relationship is based on trust and commitment, understanding, and of course love. If you TRUST the person that you are in a relationship with, why not have a joined account? If you are a committed to each other, where does the abuse comes in? If you are understanding, where does the independence and the burden comes in? If you are in love with each other and you love each other, where does the negative feelings arise from?
Yes. Women (or men) shouldn't put up with crap. At the same time, you can't just go on your own way in a relationship. You've gotta be a bit more patient with each other. You can't give up on each other after the first fight..especially if you're in a committed relationship!
