One fine evening and when I didn’t have anything to study I asked diva (my friend) if she could help me do some pranks with my friends. She hesitated first but I managed to convince her because if I call and talk to them they would know my voice…;)
More details about my friends in Halifax- five guys.. (bachelors) living in an apartment and doing their masters in Dalhousie University. I still don’t get how they all got into that university… but yea ..so they just came from india a year ago.

So I told diva to call like a telemarketer and ask couple of questions about their living…lol..
My initial target was Krishna cuz he has too much kozhuppu but unfortunately sriram picked up.

Similarities- same university.
Differences- Maya is doing biological science while Raghu and Pradeep are in manufacturing engineering. Maya was from a typical south Indian Tamil family. Raghu North Indian from Delhi and Pradeep from Kerela.

I miss madras

I was watching minnale and alaipayuthe today and as I was watching it , my good old days in madras kept flashing. Those days when me and my friends allanjifyed for maddy, school a cut addichi movies poyi..fake leave letter ready panni….now when I think about all those sweet memories I just wish I was there. I wont blame about my life here, I have so much freedom , I am a free bird here but indhula thrill aa illa…I always wanted to go college there and enjoy my college days there. Yenna panradhu..it seems that I have to enjoy my university life here. There are lot of tamil people here but most of them are from srilanka, their tamil accent is a bit hard for me get.
For example my dad’s friend called one day

I still remember the first day of my school, this srilankan girl came up to me and asked yen kitta kadhaikka maatingala…I was like..whats kadhaikka…she said talk….i said Appaaa adhu pesa maatingala…she is like whats pesa…( yenna kodume sami idhu), but yea now I got used to it :) they are really nice people.. tend to help each other a lot in there community. Because of them we have a lot of tamil stores and theatres :)….

Ohhh guess what they opened Saravana Bhavan here ..anna oru masala dosa $6 kashtam…hmm even komalas kooda recent a open panni irrukanga. It feels somewhat like back home. Its ok innum konja naal than..going to phinish my studies and go back : ). Who knows what future holds for me.

Rang De Basanti...awesome..

Watched a really really good movie after a long time. Rang de Basanti is a film about awakening. I guess you all might have seen it by now. Took in a very different style, loved each and every scene of it. Siddharth’s acting was simply great, chumma solla kudhathu I think he was the best in the movie. Didn’t expect a lot from soha ali khan, but she turned out to be good too. Don’t have to say anything about aamir khans acting. Maddy was cute as usual. Sharman joshi and Atul kulkarni did a good job. I find kunal kapoor really cute..what do you say? :)
Overall it’s a great movie to watch. and if u havent still watched it...Ada poi parrunga pa

pregnant for 46 years..........

I just watched the sickest show on TV yesterday night on TLC! It was about this foreign lady who was pregnant 46 years ago and went into labor for 48 hours, but couldn't deliver so they took her to the hospital and the doctors wanted to do a c-section, but the lady next to her died giving birth so she left the hospital. Two days afterwards she said the baby quit moving and went to sleep which meant it died. 46 years later she started to have labor pains again and her adopted son took her to several doctors to find a "mass" in her stomach. The mass of course was the fetus, but she didn't tell the doctors it was a baby. They finally figured out it was a baby after thinking it was cancer. They did a CT scan and the fetus had calcified and attached itself to her bladder and uterine wall. They did surgery to remove it ah man! It looked like a white baby shaped rock. they dissected it and it still had all it's organs. All I could think was how the hell did this women live with this dead calcified baby in her for 46 years. Amazing..

A brown man walks into a cafe one early morning and noticed that he was the only BROWN man there. As he sat down, he noticed a white man behind him. The white man said, "Colored people are not allowed here."The brown man turned around and stood up.
He then said:Listen sir....when I was born I was BROWN!
