I miss madras

I was watching minnale and alaipayuthe today and as I was watching it , my good old days in madras kept flashing. Those days when me and my friends allanjifyed for maddy, school a cut addichi movies poyi..fake leave letter ready panni….now when I think about all those sweet memories I just wish I was there. I wont blame about my life here, I have so much freedom , I am a free bird here but indhula thrill aa illa…I always wanted to go college there and enjoy my college days there. Yenna panradhu..it seems that I have to enjoy my university life here. There are lot of tamil people here but most of them are from srilanka, their tamil accent is a bit hard for me get.
For example my dad’s friend called one day
Dad’s friend- appa nikKarangala
Me- illa uKkandhittu irrukanga
Dad’s friend- I meant is your dad there
Me- humm..oh..huh yea

I still remember the first day of my school, this srilankan girl came up to me and asked yen kitta kadhaikka maatingala…I was like..whats kadhaikka…she said talk….i said Appaaa adhu pesa maatingala…she is like whats pesa…( yenna kodume sami idhu), but yea now I got used to it :) they are really nice people.. tend to help each other a lot in there community. Because of them we have a lot of tamil stores and theatres :)….

Ohhh guess what they opened Saravana Bhavan here ..anna oru masala dosa $6 kashtam…hmm even komalas kooda recent a open panni irrukanga. It feels somewhat like back home. Its ok innum konja naal than..going to phinish my studies and go back : ). Who knows what future holds for me.

Dont try to make me jealous by writting all the good times you guys are having there..apparam yen vaithu erruchal than minjum...hehe
