Why?
Why do men keep flicking through the channels with the remote control?
Why wont men stop and ask for directions?
Why do men insist on leaving the toilet seat up?
Why do men make such a fuss about going shopping?
Why do men have such disgusting personal habits?
Why do men love gross jokes?
Why? Why? Why?
To all my handsome men out there...pick the best that suits you and answer..:D

Diwali dhamaka

Hey Charu “come lets go, before the boys come down”.
“ya coming di”
We both sped through the stairs with our beautiful lehanga flowing around.
“hey Charu why don’t you go get aishu and I will go look for chitra”
“sure di”
We both split to find the rest our gangs and on my way back to the main gate
“hey kavi”
I turned around it was Satish
“Oh damn, not him again….Huh hey Satish happy Diwali”
“Happy diwali di.. you looking pretty in your new dress”
“Thanks da I got to run now…bye bye”
It was 6.30pm I could see the sun sinking welcoming a brand new night for us to enjoy.
The boys were not down yet…
We got exited and went near the main gate and kept a 1000 wala.
Hey you go light it…no way di..
Hey charu you go…huh
Fine give it to me…I will do it..
Soon the whole building looked out from their window and balcony. We four stood there as though we accomplished something big.
I saw the boys come running down and we looked at each other gave them a look of achievement.
Little did I know that it was my last Diwali that I got to celebrate.
Its been 7 years since I held a small cracker in my hand.
Happy Diwali to everyone
Burst a few extra crackers on behalf of me : )
We never know what we are missing in life unless its snatched away from us.

Why are Indian men so conservative?
So what happens when its time for marriage?
Virgin -of course
Boyfriends- No No
Religious-yes
Smoking – No way
Drinking- please leave my house
If you don’t do certain things and expect the same with your better half that’s understandable…
But if that’s not the case…shove it
Bunch of hypocrites

Flames of love
Her shawl touched my skin with the help of the breeze
I felt something inside my body,
Feelings unknown, alien kind…
She threw a disgusted look, I did not know why?
Moments passed…
I figured it was my cigar that I was breathing in between my lips.
I waited for her the next day but she disappointed me
Dejected I lighted a cigarette and was about to put in my mouth when she walked by
I hurriedly threw the smoke away but it wasn’t quick enough
Unfortunately she got a glimpse of it.
She smiled unknowingly and walked away
I stood there feeling contended and enchanted.

My secret crush
I could smell the fresh jasmine as I stood in my balcony gazing at the clear sky. I heard the birds chirping from the tree close by, couple of aunties gossiping and taking a walk.
Suddenly a bike passed by disturbing the quite environment. It was a guy and he started to park his bike in my parking place.
“Hello” I yelled on top of my lungs from the 2nd floor.
“You are parking on my spot”
He looked up abruptly and uttered “oh I am sorry, I didn’t know that “saying so he smiled.
My heart was beating fast; his eyes sparkled more than the pulsating rays of the sun, he brushed his hair making way for me to see a small white streak in his forehead.
He held on to his bike and moved it to the opposite side and looked up and said “hope this one is not your parking place madam”.
I giggled “that’s not mine, it’s my brother’s, but I give you permission to park there”.
He smiled and walked away.
My heart skipped a beat this time; I opened the door and ran outside to the other side of my building to see where he was going. He went into the B block.
Whose house is he going to? My mind wandered
I heard my mom’s voice from my house “Neeru go and give these sweets to Sarita aunty”
“Ohh mom, not again” I don’t want to walk all the way to B-block.
My mom has this really sad and innocent face which cant quite accept refusals.
“Hmm fine, give it “
I slowly Climbed the stairs thinking about the “bike guy” and knocked on sarita aunty’s door...and to my surprise he opened the door…
Huh hello…Sarita aunty?
he sheepishly smiled and said “I got scared that your telling me to move my bike again”
hehe…I think I was blushing and thank god he didn’t notice that.
“Just a minute” he said and walked in
Aunty came out with her wide smile and greeted me inside.
I walked in handed over the sweets to her and walked out within no minute.
As I was running down the stairs his smile kept flashing in my mind. So he is Raghu’s friend I thought with a contented expression.
I saw him the following week, he looked up but to his dismay I was looking at all this from my bedroom. He saw me staring at him and gave a look that dissolved my heart.
He parked his bike in my brothers’ spot and went to Raghu’s house.
I watched him from my bedroom every week and smiled at myself for acting so strange.
I was so desperate to talk to him.
The day finally came when I had the perfect opportunity to talk to him. He drove into the apartment and found his usual parking spot occupied. Surprisingly my brother had come home early that day. He was just about to park it in my spot when I drove in. He saw me and smiled and said “Have you rented the spot to someone else?”
I smiled and said “umm that’s my brothers’ bike. But you can park it right beside mine.”
I was confident that I had impressed him. I turned to leave when he stopped me. I knew he was curious to know about me, but he didn’t ask me anything.
Thoughts about him were haunting me that night. I thought to myself that maybe someday one of us will have the courage to speak up. Yet I like this feeling of silence.
Some of the greatest feelings in life are better unsaid.
My secret crush indeed!

Once upon a time
Who believed in everything
A girl
whose sadness used to sadden everyone else around her
A girl
whose life just seemed picture perfect
A girl
Who thought life would be incomplete without someone
A girl
Who believed there was a prince for her.
A girl
Who couldn’t deal with reality
A girl
Who wanted to write everything straight from her heart
But not any more.
Now she is a woman...

The history of all times and of today especially, teaches that ... women will be forgotten if they forget to think about themselves.

It's my life-end
There was happiness in her eyes and as she turned she saw something that she didn’t want to nor expected to. She saw Ajay kissing a girl.
She moved a bit closer to reassure again, he was kissing Monica, his colleague. Tears started to form in her eyes, but she didn’t want to cry. She wiped the one tear that tricked down her cheek. She turned back to leave, but something struck her mind.
Why should I leave? I am not going to sit and cry for what he did to me? I am going to face it. She went closer to him, and Monica noticed her first. Ajay turned around and for a second his facial expression changed.
He was abashed. Without pausing for a second he asked “what are you doing here, who told you to come out of the house”?
“Excuse me, who are you to tell me what should and should not be done. Except for the fact that you’re my husband and you never behaved anything close to that.
How long can a girl suspire for love and affection? Why did you have to ruin my life, if you had someone else in mind? If I had done the same thing, what would be your reaction?”
Her questions pierced his heart like a sharp knife, but he couldn’t answer even one of her questions. There was guilt in his face. But nothing could stop Priya from getting her independence back. She told him sternly that she is going to file a divorce and wanted to end her marriage since there was no hope continuing with a person who doesn’t know the value of a relationship.
She walked away with a confident and satisfied feeling. She could see Ajay looking at her with a blank look.
She closed her eyes for a moment and thought about what Ravi had told her before he went to Singapore…”When it hurts to look back and your scared to look ahead you can look beside you and I will always be there ”.
Priya ran to the phone booth and called Ravi…
Priya- hello…Ravi?
Ravi- hello….
Priya- Ravi
Ravi- Priya…………is that you??
Priya- Ravi………Ravi I need to talk to you. Is that possible?
Ravi knew right from her voice that she was upset about something.
Ravi- I am in my office right now, is it ok if I catch you in half hour?
Priya- yea sounds good enough
So they both decided to meet in a coffee shop.
Ravi was already there, he seemed more tensed than Priya. By now it started to rain, forming images in the window from which Ravi was peeking to catch a glimpse of Priya. As he was busy searching for her, someone tapped his shoulders, it was Priya. He got up and gave a quick hug; they both felt the warmness in each others company. Even though Ravi wanted to keep her in his arms forever, he thought Priya might dislike it. So he pulled a chair out for Priya and told her to sit.
So how are you doing? Asked Ravi
She kept looking at him as though she was seeing some ghost. I must admit that she looked very beautiful. Her wet hair added more beauty.
Suddenly out of nowhere she burst out crying. Priya couldn’t control it anymore. She explained everything that happened in her life from the last day she saw him.
She also added that she didn’t want to live with him anymore because he never treated her the way he’s supposed to. Ravi told her to immediately call her parents and explain to them about the situation. Priya’s parents were very cooperative and they told her to return to India for good. Ravi and her dad talked for a bit about the flight tickets and its expenses.
They were now walking in the road, both of them lost in their own world. Priya didn’t want to go back to her house. She asked Ravi if she could stay with him until her ticket gets booked. Ravi was happy with her decision. Even if she wanted to, Ravi wasn’t going to let her stay in his house.
Ravi lived in a one bedroom apartment in the 8th floor. He opened his door and it was dark inside. He went in and turned on the lights. It smelled very familiar, Indian spices she smiled to herself. The living room was nice and cozy, with a small TV, a black two seater and a small chair near the phone. As Priya was about to enter his bed room he hesitated for a second and asked if she could wait out for 2 min so he could clean up the room. She kindly agreed. He ran in and took all the pictures of Priya scattered in his bed. Placed them in the nearby cupboard and hurried out.
“So here you go madam. I am very happy to welcome you to my room, which will be yours for the couple days that you’re going to spend here.”
Priya laughed and said “does that include bed coffee too?”
“Sure why not” and he rolled his eyes.
Priya murmured “that was cute”
Ravi heard it but he asked again to make sure. But this time she said “nothing”.
Ravi laughed and went and stood in his balcony.
Priya came and stood beside him feeling the fresh breeze that was playing with her hair.
It’s all over Ravi, Priya said wiping her tears. He held her by the shoulders and comforted her saying “everything that happens is for good”.
It was getting late and Ravi told her to go and sleep. She didn’t want to but then thought maybe he wanted some time alone. So Priya went into the room closed the door and lay in the bed thinking about her future. She wasn’t sure what was going to happen. What if Ajay comes looking for me? No she thought. He won’t even notice my absence. In fact he would be happy that I am gone. Gone forever…
Priya was woken up by a thunder, it was cold. She got up to close the window from which the chilly wind was blowing in. The time was 12.30am; she could see the light creeping from the living room through her door. She opened her door to find Ravi standing in the balcony.
Aren’t you sleeping? asked Priya with a confused look in her face.
Ravi turned with a startle “uh..yea not sleepy”
Priya smiled and asked if they could talk for a while. Ravi agreed with no hesitation. They both stayed up all night updating the things that happened.

Priya felt an increase in her heart beat as he held her hands when she was crying. There is no explanation in the dictionary for the way she felt for him. The way Ravi looked into her eyes made her forget all her worries.
Priya opened her eyes to realize that it was morning already and the phone was ringing. She looked around for Ravi. She could hear water noise from the bathroom. She hurriedly got up adjusting her shirt to pick up the phone. It was her dad, she hung up the phone and Ravi came out of the bathroom wiping his face. “Who was it?” asked Ravi… “Dad had called up say that he has confirmed the ticket for tomorrow morning 9.30am to Mumbai”.
Ravi stared at her as she was in deep thoughts. He broke the silence saying “Can I ask you to spend the rest of the day with me if you don’t mind?”
Priya looked at him and he gave out one of his innocent smiles. The killer smile she thought.
“Like I have any choice” she said. And they both burst out laughing.
Suddenly he came closer to her, so close that she could smell the cologne on him. He said “if I was a thief the first thing I would steal is your smile”. She smiled again and asked “what’s the second thing?”
He moved few inches away and said “your flight ticket”. Ravi walked back to his room with heavy heart to get ready for the day.
It was a perfect day with half the sun peeping out. As they got into the car, Priya looked up and saw the dark clouds forming. Her eyes sparkled with extra happiness.
He took her to a restaurant called “Little India”; the food was simple yet satisfying. Lot of things has changed she thought, including her feelings for Ravi.
After their delightful lunch Ravi took her for a long ride. As they were reaching the country side the sky was getting darker.
“Oh please!!, NO rain now”, Ravi yelled.
Priya laughed and said “It’s going to rain”
Looking at Priya’s smile he changed his mind, he wanted the rain to pour now.
It started to rain heavily and they both sat in the car watching the rain. She inhaled the fresh smell of the wet mud. She looked at Ravi and she knew how important he was in her life.
Without him she wouldn’t have made it this far. It was his courage and confidence that drove her where she is now. She was a different person today. She could think better, she knew what she had to do.
It was time for going home, and both of them wished if the day could extend any longer.
Priya packed her things for her next days fly; Ravi sat and watched her pack with a dismay look.
It was 8 in the morning. Priya was leaving today…she gathered all her courage and went to Ravi, sat beside him and handed him a letter. She told him to open it once she leaves. Saying this she walked and vanished in the crowd of people traveling to Mumbai.
He couldn’t resist any longer, he opened the letter which read,
Dear Ravi,
I felt my love for you when I looked into your eyes and all my problems seems solved. I felt my love for you when you held my hands. I don’t understand my own feelings, but then again love is not something to be understood. There are many things I am not sure of; yet, one thing I am sure of is that “I love you”. I have loved you from the day I knew what love was. I wanted to ask you if you feel the same about me.
I wanted to express my feelings to you yesterday when we were going in the car, but I didn’t want to disappoint you on that one day that was left for us.
“Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity.”
I will be waiting for you
Your Priya

* My friend here wanted a very sad ending...i think he is disappointed now..;).....

It's my life- I

The aroma of food filled the entire house but Priya knew Ajay would least bother to appreciate it. She had cooked his favorite biriyani and kheer and was waiting for him impatiently as everyday. The clock ticked 9.30pm and there he was parking his car in the garage. Before he could ring the door bell Priya opened the door and smiled at Ajay.
“Hello how was your day?”
Ajay just threw her a repulsive look and went to the bathroom to freshen up.
In the mean time Priya set up the table for him to have her specially made biriyani. She was sitting for a while now and noticed Ajay come out of the room fully dressed to go somewhere. Her eyes moved with Ajay as he took his shoes from the rack and started wearing it.
“Are you going somewhere” she asked with a shiver in her voice
“Yes, I am and I won’t be back until late tomorrow”
Priya didn’t want to question him anymore as she knew what his reaction would be. Ajay doesn’t like being questioned or dominated.
“I made Biriyani for you”
“I like biriyani made by my mom, not by you”
Saying this he smashed the door leaving Priya behind alone in the house.
Tears rolled down uncontrollably as she placed all the dishes in the refrigerator. She could not possibly think what the reason was behind Ajay’s behavior. All she wanted at this moment from him was a smile and show of sign that he cared as a token for their 2 month marriage anniversary.
Life was not the same for Priya; she had to leave her parents, friends and Ravi back home after she got married to Ajay. Her thoughts were now wandering about Ravi as she was making her bed. Ravi was her best friend or maybe someone more than a friend. She knew him from her school days. He has always been for her like a guardian angel looking after her.
There were times when Ravi would wait for her class to finish so they both can walk home together talking about all the weird things going around in the world. Everything happened so fast in her life that she didn’t have anything under control including her marriage with Ajay. Ravi was off to Singapore for an official trip when Priya’s wedding took place. She had no choice but to listen to her parents.
Priya decided to change herself after the marriage though. She knew nothing could be done, so she managed to bury her feelings deep down her heart. But the more she tried to push Ravi’s thoughts away the more it came floating towards to her.
Priya was now lying in her bed thinking about Ajay. Right from the day they got married Priya couldn’t think of a day where he tried to make a conversation with her. It was always Priya who initiated and always ended up discouraged. She didn’t know what she did for him to behave like this. She felt hopeless and down. She needed Ravi at this time so she could rest her head on his shoulders and everything would just seem perfect after that. But she didn’t know where Ravi was right now, there was no TV or internet for her to take a peek at the outside world. She has been locked in this house for about two months now and Ajay not once cared to take her out for shopping or even a simple dinner for that matter. She felt a pinch of pain when she thought about her situation. Bearing confusion in her mind she fell asleep waking up in a brand new day, a day that was going to change rest of her life.
Priya opened her curtains welcoming the rays to fall in her face. It was a bit cloudy, it is going to rain she thought with a small curve in her lips. Priya loves when the rain drops kiss her face gently giving a shiver in her body. She simply loves that feeling.
Thinking about rain she was taken back to the days when Priya used to run out from anywhere when it starts to pour and Ravi hated it, he thought it was too childish. He would simply sit and watch her play like a little kid.
She felt ashamed for thinking about another man when she was married now. But he was not another man for her, he was her Ravi. They both had similar feelings for each other but never expressed it out due to certain reasons. Priya knew just by looking at into his eyes, it spoke volumes.
She wondered what Ravi’s reaction would be if he finds out about her situation. She wanted to talk to him, but she didn’t have his number. The only way she could find out was by calling her friend. Geeta should know where he is, she thought to herself. Quickly changing herself to a simple shirt and jeans she walked out of her house. She looked up at the sky; one small drop fell in her forehead. Life is so beautiful she thought. She was happy that she was going to talk to Ravi. This is the longest period of time they both have stayed without talking to each other. It was unbelievable how Ravi managed all these days without hearing her voice. But again even if he tried its not like she had a phone, Ajay uses his cell phone and maybe he didn’t want to call him to ask about her.
She got into the cab and halted at a near shopping mall. The cab driver was kind enough to guide her around the places. He even mentioned about waiting till she was done with her work. She nodded with a smile and walked inside the building. Nothing looked amazingly different to her as she had seen many shopping centers like this in Chennai. But this is huge compared to the ones I have seen she told herself.
Priya was walking around looking for a pay phone. She did manage to find one after 20 minutes. Without wasting any time she quickly called her friend Geeta.
Geeta was shocked to find out that Priya didn’t know that Ravi was in US too. In fact in the same province, he had called the same day Priya left to states and talked with Geeta.
Priya was surprised...more than surprised she was very happy. Her happiness knew no boundaries, she hurried to take out her pen and note down his phone number.
There was happiness in her eyes and as she turned she saw something that she didn’t want to nor expected to see. She saw Ajay kissing a girl.
to be cont..

Happily Ever After
Suddenly Deepika’s mom broke the silence and said our Deepika is a graduate from Stella Mari’s, she took biotechnology.
Oh that’s nice uttered my mom from behind.
I was just sitting there sipping my coffee admiring Deepika and her restless actions. Her curly hair falling in front of her eyes and the cute dimples just added extra charm to her beauty.
How can I tell everyone that I wanted to talk to her alone?
I got up from my chair and went to the kitchen to keep my cup thinking she would come and take it from me. But NO, her aunt had to come in between to ruin my plan. So, I thought of a better plan this time, I walked outside to the garden and stood there pretending to look at the different types of plants and flowers, not that I know any. It just made me look more stupid so I decided to go sit in one of the chairs near me. I pulled another chair closer hoping she would come join me soon. I waited and waited, I was losing my patience as every minute passed. I was about to get up when my sister came running and said Deepika is upstairs in her room she wants to talk to you.
I was a bit nervous, I didn’t know why? No I wasn’t scared…just a little bit maybe.
She was in her room rearranging her clothes, I walked in. oops I forgot to knock…I went back a couple of steps and knocked…
Deepika-Hey come on in...sorry my room is a bit messy.
Me- oh that’s fine, not worse than mine.
Deepika-urghh have a seat
Me- yea thanks, you know Deepika I want to come back to India.
Before I could say anything further
Deepika- Please Do not mistake me to be one of those shyly smiling, drawing kolams with toe, avid arranged marriage proponent types. I have my own choice in making certain decisions and if I don’t like you I will just say it to your face.
Me-woah..cool down, I am not going to force you to like me.
I could sense the stress in her face go down a bit
Deepika- hmm I am sorry to talk like that, but I didn’t want my life to be like my mom’s. Only I know how painful it is to be without a dad.
Me- yea I totally understand. No compulsion. (gosh she is tuff)
Deepika- so where were you in “America”?
Me-i lived in Connecticut, but I have gone to other places for my official trip.
She didn’t show any sign of interest, I don’t think she cared.
Deepika-oh that’s nice, are you planning to come back?
Me-that’s what I was trying to tell you before, guess you were lost in your own thoughts.
But yes I am thinking about coming back. I am sick and tired of eating fast food. Maybe you can help me out by cooking for me (and I winked)
Deepika- haha, I can hardly hold the ladle straight.
Me-oh wow,,ugh that’s impressive…I don’t blame you, being a biotechnologist must be a demanding job.
Deepika- hmm
Me- (I don’t think she could find anything wrong with what I said, guess that annoyed her a bit)
And before I could respond, the gang returned and my mom surveyed us closely. She seemed satisfied with what she perceived.
Me-well Deepika it was nice talking to you, take your time and you do know my answer. Its not going to change for a while now.
Deepika-yea, I will call you sometime
A firm handshake and a gentle nod and I was gone.
My mind was changing dramatically with every passing minute. I was waiting for her call eagerly anticipating those long lasting several hours with her.
Finally the call came after 2 weeks. I was angry and thrilled at once.
Me-DEEPIKA I gushed into the receiver just like my dad.
Deepika- Sorry, I couldn’t call earlier..something came up
Me-Huh.(what a lame excuse)
Yea yea I am sure, so everyone in your family doing OK?
And so on and so forth our conversation went on, not that long, just short for couple of hours.
Me-So Deepika tell me what do you think about me?
(I really couldn’t wait any longer)
Deepika-I already said yes to your mom.
Me-Oh so your planning to marry her?
Deepika-Haha..oh shut up…"You know, Mr.America. This just will not do. Before we get married, we need to establish some ground rules of conduct that we will adhere to and……."
Me-I take it, so that’s a yes?
Deepika- You bet , Mister. It is a yes. But I will not have you think that I am just your mushy, little Indian girl who was swept off her feet by an NRI.
Me-haha, I am soo in love with you

Change
You cant expect the wind to blow in the same direction all the timeYou cant expect the moon to be full all the time
And you cant expect today to be same like tomorrow.
Then how can we expect someone to be same all the time??
The world is changing every minute and so are the people. And in this world of hatred and cruelty, it’s better not to expect anything from anyone.
And trust me it feels so much better when somethings happen out of the blue, which you totally didn’t expect.

Life goes on..
How many of you have got the feeling “why does it happen only with me”. Well I did a couple of weeks ago when my friend left to India. It didn’t hit me until he was gone. It dawned on that I will really miss him. For sure I can survive I thought, I have lot of other friends; I can go shopping with them, movies, beach and what not. But why does everything remind me of him?
Not one day has gone by without talking to him and now my days seem incomplete without hearing his voice. All I can do is cherish the days we spent together watching movies, long talks and his special red pepper chicken.
The feeling of “missing” someone is sort of interesting. I know its going to be a bit tough initially but as days pass by I hope to come back to normal. Even though I get calls from him almost everyday its not going be the same as being together in a same place. I am pretty sure I can manage several days, weeks and years until he comes back. As my friend said enjoy this phase of missing someone ;).
Really want to thank all my friends for your great support as without you guys I don’t think I would have come out of this mesh.

Sitting alone
Feeling lonely and blue
I close my eyes
And think of you
And wish…
You were here by my side
Miss you all!!!

Pointless!!!!!!

I think people need to grow up and think in a broader way before filing cases and burning posters of them.
I just couldn’t figure out why such commotion for a simple kiss in cheek. “Demonstrators say Gere's kissing of Shetty goes against Indian culture”. When did our Indian culture ban kissing??
People may have their own way of showing affection, and I think that’s what Richard was trying to do. If he didn’t have a problem and if she didn’t have a problem, why are people so worried about it? Ponga pa poi pullaingala paddikka veyinga :P
“Public display of affection is a taboo in India” they say, but our population doesn’t seem to decline.

A broken bond

Riya took a dose of sleeping pill, pulled her blanket and closed her eyes for a peaceful sleep. Even after taking those Flunitrazepam tablets she was unable to rest. She felt a rush a blood run into her brain…with much discomfort she tightly closed her eyes telling herself not to open it again.
The next thing she saw a bright sunny day, the curtains where pulled to the corner which let a beam of ray disturb her eyes. She opened her eyes wide welcoming the new day, got up from the bed and walked to the window to find if the computers shop across was open.

Ramblings
Frustrated with the things happening I thought of playing with the snow, i picked up some snow in my hand and started meddling with it, that I suddenly heard some weird noise from the top, by the time I could look up…I was covered with snow which was on top of the bus stop roof. If you had just left me there for few minutes I could imagine the children make a snow man out of me.
Now being even more frustrated, that too at 5.30 am in the morning, I thought of walking till the next stop, so that at least it would keep me warm for sometime until the next bus comes. As I was walking through the snow,
I saw the bus pass behind me, freaked out I started to run, it was very slippery and I "almost" fell on my face, regaining my thoughts and the dream that I used to get often about me falling and breaking my front two teeth….i walked so slow that the bus driver exclaimed when I got in to the bus “ WOW…that was pretty fast ”…with a sarcastic look.Avamaanam thaangama nan appdiye bus a vittu erangidalam n ninnaichen…but intha maari nerathula ego la parka koodathu n yaaro solli irrukaanga….so appdiye quite ah bus ulla poi ukkaarndhutain…: )
The good thing is that I didn’t miss my connecting bus to my university, or else I would have had to wait for another hour.pheww..
I was on time for the class so I thought, why not grab a coffee. The line was so big that I had to wait for 10 minutes and the class had started. I saw one guy walk into my class and hoping that he would hold the door for me I walked right behind him. But unfortunately andha paazha ponnavan let the door slam and I ended up dropping my coffee in the floor and making a big scene in the entrance that the prof had to stop the lecture for few minutes.: (..
At that point too I thought, cha class um vendham oru mannum vendham…innikki namma day ve seri illa….then again thinking about the lose that class would encounter without my presence… I went and sat at the back. Opened my laptop and was downloading some new songs…everything was fine until I heard a phone ring…it kept ringing and ringing…and I noticed people looking at my direction…but i was so confident that it wasn’t my ring tone. Within few seconds I saw the prof walk close to me and said “ it would be appreciated if you please turn off your cell”. With much disbelief I took my cell phone out from my big pink bag filled with lots of other junk. Guess what…it was my phone :)…
Then I remembered that last night my mom’s friend’s son, a very cute one indeed was playing with my cell and god knows what he did to the ring tone…that it sounded like someone barfing.
Adhukku apparam class la enna achi n nan solla maatain…ennoda maanathe ippdi air la naane parake vida maatain…:)
Moral of the story- never let kids play with your stuff…noooo I am kidding…they r too adorable to resist…:P
